SEMENYIH: Another developer has come on board to offer customers complimentary subscriptions to dimsum, The Star’s video-on-demand (VOD) service.
Eco World Development Group Bhd is offering the first 500 purchasers of Eco Majestic projects a one-year subscription of dimsum as part of its VIP gift.
These include buyers of the Cradleton Terrace Homes, the handing over of which yesterday marked another milestone for Eco Majestic’s first landed home series.
The Cradleton precinct comprises 612 units of Straits Era inspired, two-storey terraced homes in colonial style architecture.
Yvonne Tey, head of EcoWorld Residence Club, said EcoWorld had sponsored 1,000 dimsum subscriptions for their customers. The other 500 were for its Eco Spring and Eco Summer projects in Johor.
“We will continue to provide such add-ons for our customers in the future,” she said.
Dimsum is a VOD service offering the best Asian content via online and mobile applications.

In his welcoming speech, Eco World Development Group Bhd president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said it was delighted to welcome the first residents to Eco Majestic, its flagship township in the Klang Valley.
“We are thrilled to showcase the environment and landscape of Eco Majestic as it is a testament to our promise to deliver unmatched product and service quality in all our development,” he said.
Also present at the handover ceremony were Star Media Group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai and Eco World Development Group chairman Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin and executive director Datuk Voon Tin Yow.
The Cradleton precinct, measuring around 20ha, is the group’s first completed stratified landed development in Klang Valley.
Some 5ha of the precinct is dedicated to greenery, including pathways consisting of a 2.3km bicycle route.
There will also be a dedicated central and linear park, which comes with outdoor facilities such as a fitness station, a playing lawn and a specially customised carousel children’s playground.
EcoWorld is the second developer to offer its customers complimentary dimsum subscriptions. Orando Holdings Sdn Bhd has also provided all buyers of its residential and commercial units free access to dimsum.
