VERVEA, the first phase of Aspen Vision City in Batu Kawan in Penang, is slated for completion together with the first IKEA store in the northern region in 2018.
Construction is under progress for Vervea which is a collection of 441 shop offices (three and four storeys) sized between 3,300sq ft and 7,830sq ft. The units are priced from RM1.88mil each.
Vervea comes with a host of value-added features like high-speed broadband and fibre-optics readiness, private lift for each unit, ample parking space and a 300m-long covered open area called High Street to boost the commercial ambience.
It is part of a flagship development by Aspen Group, a property development and real estate investment group which aims to deliver quality and affordability in the property development industry.
With a gross development value of RM10bil covering 99.1ha of prime freehold land in Batu Kawan, the development will be strategically located at the landing point of the second Penang Bridge.
Besides the IKEA store, Murly said other components within Aspen Vision City included a regional integrated shopping centre, Columbia Asia Hospital, condominiums, shop offices, serviced suites, a hotel, an office tower, a medical centre and an international school.
“The components are supported by an array of top-notch facilities,” Murly said.
Aspen Vision City’s second phase – Vertu Resort – is a resort-inspired furnished condominium project consisting of five elegant towers from 29 to 42 storeys.
Housing 1,282 units, the project offers only eight to 12 units per floor, assuring greater privacy for residents.
Available in seven layouts, the units are priced from RM450,000 and now open for registration. Vertu Resort is targeted for completion in 2019.
Murly said Vertu would have more than 50 types of amenities within a 200,000sq ft space designed for leisurely pleasure.
He said the company was offering its Aspen My Deposit Scheme for Vertu Resort for a limited time period.
“Buyers need to pay only 5% downpayment and nothing else until vacant possession.
“That is not all as qualified purchasers will also receive RM20,000 from the developer as a professional grant during the construction period,” he explained.
Over on Penang island, the latest addition to Aspen Group’s portfolio is Beacon Executive Suites, a SOHO development in George Town.
Standing 30 storeys high, Beacon is set to grace the skyline of George Town with a unique Sky Podium providing panoramic 360-degree views of the surroundings.
Designed to cater for all ages, the Sky Podium will have a full range of lifestyle facilities that includes an Infinity Sky Pool, Sky Lounge, Sky Gym and more.

Murly said Beacon offered fully furnished suites in move-in condition, promising exquisite finishing, impeccable decoration and furnishing.
“All units will be fitted with cutting-edge smart features like smart services platforms, and on-the-go mobile applications for urbanites who are constantly on the move,” he added.
Priced from RM558,000, the Beacon Executive Suites are now open for registration and targeted for completion in 2019.
For the Vervea shop offices, purchasers will get a 5% rebate upon second billing.
