GAMUDA GARDENS: Gamuda Gardens, the thriving 810-acre township development nestled just north of Sungai Buloh has announced the new retail partners for its latest commercial development, Gardens Square. With a commitment to enhancing the lifestyle of its residents and visitors alike, Gamuda Gardens continues to evolve into a vibrant hub of activities, blending modern amenities with lush green spaces and community-centric offerings.

Anchored by a 50-acre pet-friendly central park, Gamuda Gardens has experienced remarkable growth since its launch in 2017. Today, it stands as a testament to thoughtful urban planning, boasting completed components including a fully-tenanted park-fronting Waterfront Village and Gamuda Luge Gardens, a family-themed fun. With approximately 5,000 residents now calling it home, Gamuda Gardens is poised for its next phase of development.

By the end of 2024, the township will witness the completion of Gardens Square, set to further enrich the daily lives of its residents. This eagerly awaited addition will welcome a diverse mix of tenants, including a prominent grocer, F&B establishments, and essential services, catering to the varied needs and preferences of the community.

“We are thrilled to unveil the exciting lineup of retail partners who will soon call Gamuda Gardens home,” said Gamuda Gardens general manager Andrew Tan.

“As we continue to grow and evolve, our focus remains on creating an inclusive environment where residents can live, work, and play seamlessly. These new additions to our commercial landscape underscore our commitment to delivering unparalleled convenience and enriching experiences for all,” he added.

Among the brands gracing the retail component are ZUS Coffee, Tealive, ChaTraMue, Long John Silver’s, Bask Bear, 7 Café, Shae.co, Salad Atelier and Happy Potato as well as anchor tenant Star Grocer.

Star Grocer managing director Fabian Tan said: “This partnership aligns both companies’ principles in creating spaces for the community while building a sustainable future for the planet. Gamuda Gardens has breathed new life into Rawang town, and the area provides an ideal setting for a grocery operation like Star Grocer. Our goal is to provide fresh, high-quality goods sourced locally and internationally, offering residents a variety of products at competitive prices.”

Meanwhile, Rasa Riang by Asia Deli, Haruka Bakery and Artist Lab will be part of the lineup at the Waterfront Village, adding to the variety of shops and dining spots like Yilo Restaurant and Bar, Freshii Grocer and Nine Oasis Café and Restaurant.

Gamuda Gardens has successfully unveiled four residential phases, including Village Homes, GAIA Residences, Joya, and Jovita. Building on this momentum, the next milestone includes the handover of Illaria Hillside Homes, comprising two-storey terrace residences, slated for completion by July 2024.

On the commercial front, GAIA Boulevard, Village Square and Atrium Shops represent the company’s commitment to enhancing convenience and enriching the leisure experience within the township. Positioned adjacent to the family-themed Gamuda Luge Gardens, the Atrium Shops will seamlessly integrate with existing attractions, fostering a dynamic environment for all.

Moreover, the opening of Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur and FunPark at Gamuda Luge Gardens has significantly amplified leisure offerings, attracting a diverse array of visitors since its unveiling in December last year. It has an anticipated annual footfall of 800,000 visitors projected for 2024.

Tan said: “We also have our new 532-acre Gardens Park township which is an extension of Gamuda Gardens. Both townships will be connected via a 1km Park Connector, and Gardens Park will also have a new road that connects it to Rawang town at the north. This new addition will help extend the success of Gamuda Gardens and replenish our residential offerings, further strengthening our presence in the northern Klang Valley.”

Gamuda Gardens and Gardens Park will see an estimated combined population of 45,000 when both townships are completed in 2034. With the impending completion of Gardens Square, Gamuda Gardens is poised to set a new standard for modern living, where convenience, comfort, and community converge seamlessly.
