GAMUDA COVE: Property developer Gamuda Land has signed a memorandum of understanding with new tenants, which include food and beverage (F&B) and convenience outlet operators, as well as educational institutions, for its Gamuda Cove development.

“As the township development progresses, it is timely for us to bring in various tenants and partnerships that will strengthen the township and support a self-sustained community. We believe that when we get the places right, the town will work for the people who call it home and we are working towards achieving this for our community,” Gamuda Cove general manager Brandon Yong said.

Confirmed tenants include Kenangan Coffee, Long John Silver’s, Big Apple Kindergarten and Technoriant, a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) hospitality training centre.

Yong noted that Gamuda Cove would continue to speak with key F&B operators to further enhance its amenities. The new additions seek to complement the recently announced ASAI Gamuda Cove hotel, which is slated to open in 2026.

The development would introduce Maya Bay Residences and Enso Woods respectively in March and July 2024, aiming to deliver over 1,900 units and an anticipated 7,600 residents by the end of 2024.

“We look into the details to create a distinct sense of place for our developments which can be seen in the success of our completed townships like Kota Kemuning, Valencia, and Jade Hills,” Yong said.

Following Gamuda Cove’s first commercial sector, Townsquare, Gamuda Land would also launch 112 units of European-inspired commercial shops and offices at Cove Centrum, located adjacent to SplashMania Waterpark.

In its press release, Gamuda Land stated that the Cyberjaya Link would be completed in 2025 to increase the development's connectivity. The route aims to complement the link to Kota Kemuning.

Long John Silver’s chairman Mohd Yusof Ishak, Big Apple director Gary Ting, Yong, Kenangan Coffee director Low Jing Yee and Technoriant director Datuk Bruce Lim were in attendance.
