PETALING JAYA: Gamuda Land signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with six key partners namely Aerophile, AKA Balloon, Blastacars, Invade, Kitchen Mafia and Caravan Serai to unveil the first few elements of its entertainment hub Discovery Park@Gamuda Cove.
Targeted to be partly operating by next year and fully completed by 2020, Discovery Park is a 50-acres entertainment hub in Gamuda Cove township. The park is divided into three recreational zones — The Adventure Park, Hangout Village and Sports Park, to offer leisure, shopping, wellness and entertainment experiences for the visitors.
“We are now gradually turning our vision for Gamuda Cove’s masterplan into actionable plans to activate the place. Inking these six partnerships is just the beginning, and we are weaving more partnerships as we envision Gamuda Cove to be a vibrant and exciting city of the future,” said Gamuda Land chief operating officer Gan Chee Meng.
The Adventure Park will feature the tethered hot air balloon operated by AKA Balloon, indoor go-karting Blastacars Drift Karts, mountain bike or all-terrain vehicle (ATV) riding and Caravan Serai’s outdoor glamping.
The Hangout Village is the social hub of the entertainment park which offers a variety of food and beverage (F&B) and shopping choices. One of the highlights is South East Asia’s first aerobar, where visitors can enjoy drinks at a 35m high flying bar in the sky.
Others components in the section include The Hive creative market and the Kitchen Mafia by celebrity chef Sherson Lian and Johnny Fua.
