PETALING JAYA: City developer SkyWorld Development Bhd’s (SkyWorld) latest completed development, SkyAwani 5 Residence in Sentul has achieved an 84% Qlassic score and a 5-star Shassic rating. Qlassic is the construction industry’s benchmark for workmanship quality while Shassic is the benchmark for safety and health aspects in construction projects.
At a special showcase of SkyAwani 5 Residence, SkyWorld chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said the company is steadfast in delivering quality developments and ensuring safe worksites, adding, “Through stringent processes and thorough inspections, we deliver homes that meet or surpass industry standards regardless of the price. At the event, Lee also received the Qlassic and Shassic certificates for the development from the Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (Cream) chief executive officer M Ramuseren. Cream is a research arm of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), which has developed both the Qlassic and Shassic benchmarks.
With a gross development value of RM188mil, SkyAwani 5 Residence comprises 615 units, each with 800 sq ft in a 36-storey tower. There are over 30 facilities including a gymnasium, terrace lawn, tree house, basketball court, jogging trail, multipurpose hall, games room, co-working space, rooftop sky lounge and a sky garden. Priced from RM300,000, the development is fully sold.
