THOUSANDS ushered in the New Year amidst music, fire-eaters and dinosaurs at the Lost World of Tambun theme park.
Unperturbed by a continuous drizzle throughout the night, revellers danced to the infectious beats played by DJ Cham as well as the powerful vocal performances of the SkyHigh Band.
Others had fun in the theme park’s wave and hot springs pools.
Taking a break from their dancing and swimming, some witnessed a song and dance performance called Makalani and the Lost Tribe at the theme park’s Monkey Valley area. Others took the opportunity to visit the Lost World Petting Zoo.
Dinosaurs also came alive during the night to add to the excitement.
Squeals erupted from the crowd as a stegosaurus stomped towards them and later performed a sketch together with rangers of the theme park.
To add to festivities the Lost World Flaming Percussion performers carried on thrilling the crowd with their fire eating and fire juglling skills until it was time to count down to a brand new year.
