KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd's presence in Mont’Kiara has strengthened further with the topping out of its Residensi Astrea Mont’Kiara.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, labour shortages and the rising cost of building materials, Residensi Astrea was delivered promptly with the completion of its roof slab on the topmost floor.
“Residensi Astrea’s topping demonstrates our continued efforts to bring value to the Mont’Kiara neighbourhood as one of its pioneer developers despite the challenges we faced and overcame. We aspire to create more sustainable living spaces with innovative products for homeowners who seek to stay in the international and diverse community of Mont’Kiara. Residensi Astrea’s progress is going according to schedule, and we are looking forward to its completion in Q4 2023 as planned,” UEM Sunrise chief executive officer Sufian Abdullah said.
The development was launched in October 2018 and is estimated to be completed by Q4 2023. Residensi Astrea is a freehold luxury residence comprising a 37-storey tower with 240 units and six layouts.
Mont’Kiara is considered one of the most affluent townships in Kuala Lumpur, and the demand shows with the 98% uptake of Residensi Astrea units.
Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd executive director Bibhuti Nath Jha, UEM Sunrise chief operations officer (central) Liong Kok Kit, UIG Architects project architect Reno Lee and Residensi Astrea’s project team leader Phoon Sit Meng were also in attendance.
