PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, a subsidiary of Tropicana Corporation Bhd (Tropicana), celebrated another feather in its cap with the Clean Food Premises Award, organised by Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ).
Graced by Petaling Jaya Mayor Mohamad Azhan, the accolade recognises eateries that fulfil MBPJ’s criteria for an A mark in cleanliness. The recognition is a testament to Tropicana Golf & Country Resort’s continuing focus on Redefining the Art of Living.

We are honoured by MBPJ’s recognition of the team’s efforts and hope that the Clean Food Premises Award as a platform can continue to inspire the industry to ever-greater heights. Tropicana was recognised in the Hotel/Clubhouse category, introduced by MBPJ in 2022. In total, 111 premises, including cafes, bakeries, hotels, and food courts, were shortlisted for evaluation this year, with 84 selected for recognition following panel judging. Tropicana Golf & Country Resort received a score of 87, out of an average of 78.4 for selected premises.
