IOI Properties Group Bhd (IOIPG) is developing IOI City Towers – a new Grade A, international-class office development comprising two office towers with a total 1 million sq ft nett lettable area (NLA) in IOI Resort City.
They are scheduled for completion by end of the year.
A key advantage of IOIPG’s new investment assets is that they are located within an integrated development.
“Office tenants today prefer to be in an integrated development, versus standalone buildings, where other amenities are within reach,” said chief operating officer (property investment) Cheah Wing Choong.
Comprising two 31-storey office towers, the IOI City Towers each offer 500,000sq ft of NLA.
The developer said the towers were designed to meet the needs of multinational corporations. They comply with Green Building Index standards and are designed for Multimedia Super Corridor status.
The towers would also be well connected to major business hubs via a host of interconnecting highways. To further enhance its accessibility, two ramps have been built on each side of the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) to allow visitors a direct access into IOI Resort City.
One ramp is for traffic coming from Puchong, while the other is from Kajang.
IOI Resort City is well-connected to established residential areas, including Puchong, Serdang, Bangi and Kajang, as ready accommodation for workers.
Security is taken care of with security features such as Visitor Management System and lifts with Destination Control System to ensure peace of mind for tenants and employees.
IOI City Towers are also interconnected with the new five-star Le Meridien Putrajaya Hotel and 1.5 million sq ft IOI City Mall. The biggest shopping centre in south Klang Valley, the mall is anchored by Parkson, Tesco, Home Pro, Index Living and a 13-screen cineplex by Golden Screen Cinema.
It also houses Malaysia’s first Olympic-sized ice skating rink and “District 21” – a 70,000sq ft lifestyle adventure park.
