Kuala Lumpur – Boutique developer Bon Estates Sdn Bhd officially unveiled its highly-anticipated 'The Estate' condominium last Sunday, a luxury high-rise project that promises to address the growing demand for spacious upmarket abodes in the South Bangsar locale, as well as fulfilling the aspirations of those seeking wholesome living standards in the urban heart.

The Estate is a rare proposition that is taking shape on 3.68 acres of freehold land in a verdant nook within a commercially vibrant and well-connected neighborhood. Here, two 46-storey towers play host to 328 spacious upmarket condominiums sized between 2,346 sq ft and 3,474 sq ft, satisfying the scarcity of family-centric units in the vicinity.

However, it is The Estate’s complete outlook of appealing to both the mind and the soul that is making an endearing connection with affluent home seekers; those who value a central location conveniently connected to the best amenities that the city has to offer, while desiring a serene escape that is conducive for nurturing families and promoting quality time with loved ones.

“In envisioning The Estate, we committed ourselves to satisfying this desire by crafting spaces that blend quality with comfort, form with function, state-of-the-art facilities with lush green surroundings, and modern luxury with timeless appeal,” said Bon Estates’ managing director Goh Soo Sing.

The Estate boasts a verdant setting on a rare freehold parcel along Jalan 112/h, that features the majestic Bukit Gasing Forest Park as a backdrop. Here, two towers of 46 storeys will house a total of 328 luxury condominiums, offered in typical built-up sizes that range between 2,346sq ft and 3,474sq ft.

With a low density of just 89 units per acre (a benchmark for the vicinity), The Estate’s two towers accommodate just four units per floor. Each is a corner unit, and north-facing units will have a view of University of Malaya and the KL city skyline beyond it, while south-facing units will overlook the Bukit Gasing forest.

Standard units come in options of four-plus-one or five-plus-one bedrooms, while there are also a limited number of duplex units and penthouses available. About 40 per cent of the units will feature the dual-key concept, to appeal to a broader market of buyers.

Inside, buyers can expect spacious open concept layouts, ceiling heights of 11ft, bedrooms with attached baths, as well as quality fittings and fine finishing.

All units come with a marble floor finishing for the living area; homogeneous tiles for the balcony, wet kitchen and bathrooms; engineered wood flooring for the bedrooms; and carefully selected bathroom fixtures which includes designer sanitary ware, quality brass taps and stone composite bath tubs.

More than just the provision of high-quality fittings, the project pays strong attention to the quality of workmanship, which is why The Estate will be built based on Qlassic standards, certified by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).

Within the enclave, residents will also have access to a host of facilities and amenities that are designed to enhance their quality of life.

There are a total of five pools at The Estate – the two sky pools at each tower, a lap pool, family pool and a kid pool.  Other facilities include a 3,000 sq ft gym, yoga room, meditation room as well as child-friendly facilities such as an open play area with a sunken lawn, custom play area and an indoor playroom.

Interior designers have also provided two eye-catching lobby concepts for The Estate’s two towers. The lobby at Tower A, located beside the pool area, showcases an open-air resort theme. Meanwhile, the lobby at Tower B is a fully air-conditioned visual statement modeled after a five-star hotel's grand lobby to entertain guests in style.

Both towers also come with sky decks which feature a barbecue area, dining area, lounge area and a dipping pool. Home owners can also host private parties at the sky decks, party rooms or the multipurpose hall.

Going beyond modern lifestyle facilities, The Estate endeavors to reinvigorate a sense of community and belonging amongst its dwellers, with the provision of healthy green spaces and wholesome surroundings that are family-centric.

The Estate subscribes to a “100-Year” home concept that goes beyond appealing to a single generation.

Almost 70% of the land mass area is dedicated to well-manicured landscaping. Overall, The Estate also boasts  large resort themed landscapes, which includes luxury cabanas, a resort themed lobby and a beautiful tea garden in addition to an array of active lifestyle facilities.

In conceptualising the look and feel of the common green spaces, renowned landscape architectural firm Seksan Design has also created a sustainable and functional green feature at the project by converting an existing retention pond into a beautiful 300m lake walk where residents can enjoy morning and evening strolls.

The Estate’s green credentials go beyond striking foliage to also satisfy society’s growing desire to live eco-consciously. As such, it is designed to be an energy efficient building in line with Building Sector Energy Efficient Project (BSEEP) standards set by United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR).

The overall proposition living the “Good Life” at The Estate has already struck a chord with affluent home seekers. Currently, more than 50% of the units are already spoken for, many snapped up during pre-registration exercises and private viewing leading up to the weekend launch.

Goh said that this was, in part, due to the immense investment potential South Bangsar represents, and the fact that The Estate is attractively priced at just RM800psf – which is lower than the limited supply of similar options in the area. This offers buyers the exciting potential of strong capital growth, but there is more that lies behind the appeal of The Estate.

“I believe that buyers are also connecting with the Bon Estates ideology of rediscovering the emotive appeal that lies behind the choice of a home,” he explained.

“As the demands of a modern world put pressure on our time, income and environment, home seekers are not just looking for added value in their property investments, they are also redefining the meaning of ‘value’ itself.”

“We acknowledge this dynamic change and we understand that aspirational buyers today don’t just want a quality product but they also want a quality lifestyle that allows quality time to spend with loved ones,” said Goh.

Goh added that fulfilling the lifestyle goals of buyers requires a determination to put people at the heart of a project and a dedication to craftsmanship in order to envision and execute spaces that matter to people.

“That’s how we see ourselves at Bon Estates, we don’t just want to build properties, we want to craft an enduring lifestyle appeal,” he said.

Goh said The Estate subscribes to a “100-Year” home concept that goes beyond appealing to a single generation. It is about being an address that you would be proud to pass on to future generations as well.
