Resonating Microcosms at LaLaport BBCC rooftop garden.

KUALA LUMPUR: The art collective TeamLab will be exhibiting light artworks titled Resonating Microcosms at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre from Aug 4 to Nov 30, 2022.

Having held exhibitions worldwide, TeamLab’s new art venue is LaLaport BBCC Rooftop Garden (L4), which features egg-shaped fixtures that transform with stimulation from the environment around it such as wind, rain and visitors.

The oval will shine brightly and emit a sound tone, and the fixtures around it will also respond, resonating out the same sound tone and light colour.

Experimenting with the concept of colour, the ovoids can change into a total of 57 liquified light colours. Under the sun, the ovoids reflect the world around them. When the sun sets, the ovoids begin to shine by themselves. The surrounding trees also respond and change continuously.
