ARA DAMANSARA: Property developer Sime Darby Property Bhd is gearing up to launch its final condominium offering within The Glades, a 56-acre development that focuses on peace and tranquillity.
Named The Serenade, the condominium was designed with rooms that could easily be converted into home offices, and 20 select units will even come with a private garden.
“We saw that post-pandemic, homeowners are looking for larger floor plans with layouts that offer a clear separation of personal, work, and family spaces. In addition, green areas, pocket parks, and recreational features are more important than ever as health and wellness take a stronger precedence in our lives,” said Sime Darby Property group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican.
The building design maximises natural lighting and ventilation while maintaining privacy. In line with eco-friendly initiatives, developers of The Serenade incorporated sustainability and innovation features such as rainwater harvesting, an automated waste collection system and an inclusive playground that caters to children of all abilities.
Residents have access to The Glades clubhouse, which is equipped with a gym, sauna, jacuzzi, multi-purpose hall, tennis courts, as well as an infinity pool.
The Serenade is positioned in a location with excellent connectivity and accessibility to commercial hotspots, hospitals, international schools and transportation hubs.
Master planned as a low-density development, Sime Darby Property offered only eight three-storey bungalows per acre within the 58-acre Glades. Five units are still available.
The precursor to The Serenade, The Alcove saw a 100% take-up for all its 72 units, during the recent pandemic.
The Serenade is open for registration and interested home buyers can book a private appointment to view the show unit at the Putra Heights sales gallery from 10am to 6pm daily.
