Property developer OCR Noble Land (The Resident) Sdn Bhd has completed its RM125mil mid-rise residential development, The Resident@Ampang South.
The development is located in Taman Muda, Ampang.
Despite the challenging environment in the property sector, the low-density development achieved a take-up rate of 85% of its 180 units across three towers. Towers A and B will house only six units per level while Tower C will have eight units per level.
According to OCR, the accessibility of the development and its convenient amenities enhance the product features and solidify its presence in Ampang’s property market.
The Resident@Ampang South is strategically located adjacent to the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and commands a view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline as well as the Ampang Forest Reserve.
This offers a refreshing break from the high-density development commonly found close to the city centre.
The developer said property prices in KL city had been on the upside in recent years, making Ampang the preferred place for city living with a more affordable price range.
“Although purchasers are getting more and more cautious now when it comes to buying property, we still believe that having the right product at the right location will be the winning strategy,” said a spokesperson for the developer.
Prices for units at The Resident@Ampang South start from RM545,000.
The development offers a view of KLCC and has a six-tier security system.
