GEORGE TOWN: Gurney Drive, famous for its street food and hawker centres, has a new addition. The community-centric mall Gurney Walk has opened its doors, offering various products and services from an eclectic mix of tenants.

Already achieving an occupancy rate of 60%, it is poised to be a one-stop destination for leisure, work and retail. Owned by Plenitude Bhd, Gurney Walk is designed to be an invigorating social and cultural hub. 

An entire floor within Gurney Walk is dedicated to health and wellness, anchored by a 3,500 sq ft boutique spa. Visitors can also look forward to the wellness offerings, food and beverage outlets, hair and nail salons, local artisanal offerings and a plethora of pop-up stores slated to open soon. 

Gurney Walk will curate and feature art exhibitions and workshops, among other planned community-centric events. The management has laid out a 12-month programme for the mall to further cement its allure as an all-encompassing and exciting one-stop destination where members of the community and patrons can meet, play and engage in retail therapy.
