PETALING JAYA: Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming has commended property developer SkyWorld Development Bhd for its effort in building sustainable and quality affordable homes.
The minister and his delegation were given a guided tour to SkyAwani Residences at Setapak, followed by a visit to the SkyWorld Quality Centre, where the developer shared the company’s vision for sustainable urban growth and showcased its innovations in urban planning, including its commitments to Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic) standard developed by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in Malaysia.
Also present at the tour was SkyWorld founder and executive chairman Datuk Seri Ng Thien Phing.
“At (the ministry), we are always looking at solutions to provide affordable homes that are liveable, accessible, which have good connectivity and community. It is good to see that SkyWorld is committed to sustainability and is using innovative technologies and materials in its developments,” said Nga.
SkyWorld chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said: “We are honoured to have the (minister) visit and this is a testament to SkyWorld’s commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable homes to Malaysians.”
“We will continue to innovate and push the boundaries of design and promote sustainability matters to provide our customers with the best homes possible,” he added.
