PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) – the country’s largest exhibition space – is 80% completed as of now and will be on track to meet its delivery target to the Government in the second quarter of 2016.
“Work is now ongoing to complete the roof, facade and interior works,” Naza TTDI deputy executive chairman and group managing director SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin said in a statement.
“Apart from that, the infrastructure to the exhibition centre is ongoing and scheduled for completion at the same time,” he added.
Mitec is the first component of Naza TTDI’s 75.5-acre KL Metropolis development, the upcoming international trade and exhibition district of Kuala Lumpur.
The exhibition centre will have a gross floor area of one million sq ft.
