PETALING JAYA: IPC Shopping Centre (IPC) has invested in new equipment and enhancements to improve its customers’ shopping experience to make it a preferred destination for shoppers and visitors.
According to a press release, IPC is more committed than ever to safeguarding the health and safety of its customers, working with government authorities to ensure a comfortable and secure shopping experience.
“IPC has received tremendous support from the surrounding community for over 18 years. We strive to continue upgrading ourselves by improving our hospitality, offering a wider retail tenant mix and hosting more unique family-friendly events,” said IPC general manager Karyn Lim.
A new escalator has been installed to improve navigation and traffic flow as part of the expansion. Family rooms have been refurbished with new lighting, anti-bacterial flooring and an advanced air ventilation system.
Nursing rooms within these upgraded family rooms have been equipped with locks to provide a more comfortable setting. These rooms have sinks, water heaters, water dispenser and even an integrated play area for toddlers. The centre has also upgraded the ventilation and air filtration system.
Fun and play
In line with their family-friendly mission, IPC’s new attraction Playland provides children with a safe, clean, and meaningful experience. Conceptualised as a mini obstacle course, Playland comes with slides, tunnels and climbing areas that challenge older children to explore the space creatively.
IPC’s Funland playground on Level 2 has also received an upgrade. Exciting dinosaur-themed playsets with spring riders, seesaws, slides and educational panels have been installed for younger children to explore. These new enhancements allow families to create fun memories together in a safe and educational environment. Funland will soon be available for booking through the IPC website.
“Everything we do at Ikano Centres always starts with and from our customers. We want to ensure that our visitors have a fantastic day out, enabled by a seamless customer experience,” said Ikano Centres shopping centre and mixed-use director Adrian Mirea.
