KUALA LUMPUR: I Bhd, the master developer of the RM1bil 8Kia Peng development at the KL City Centre (KLCC) is confident about the sales outlook.
"I can attest that we have received many enquiries after we launched two weeks ago," its I Bhd executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong said on Thursday at the opening of the sales gallery.
"We think we will be able to sell this product fairly quickly. The location is very good and it is very close to KLCC itself," he added.
Lim said the launch of 8Kia Peng @ KLCC was a renewed vote of confidence in the KLCC area within greater KL.
He also shared the story of how he had enjoyed the vantage point afforded by his former home for 30 years which resulted in the vision of 8Kia Peng as “King of The Hill”.
“As an entrepreneur, I know that life has its challenges. And 2016 will be no different with global economic headwinds expected. Nevertheless, I have tremendous faith and confidence in the KLCC area and especially with the special offerings of 8Kia Peng,” he said.
He was also grateful for the endorsement of 8Kia Peng as an Entry Point Project (EPP) in line with the Government’s Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
He said this development would take luxury, accessibility, privacy and facilities to the next level.
Marketing director Monica Ong said interested buyers will have an opportunity to view a typical mock up show unit at the gallery.
She said the project was targeted at global property buyers, and those discerning investors seeking the best views of KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers.
“With this in mind, 8Kia Peng is designed such that it offers a full view of the magnificent KLCC skyline, with 80% of the residences having a direct Petronas Twin Tower view.
“We target 70% international buyers while the profile of the 30% local buyers are expected to be professionals of middle to upper income group”, she added.
Construction has started and is on track with piling work already completed. This 50-storey freehold, CONQUAS standards project is expected to be completed in 2019. It is internally funded by I-Berhad, the master developer of i-City.
