KUALA LUMPUR: The Battersea Power Station development on the south bank of the River Thames is one of Malaysia’s most notable investments in London.
Speaking at a cocktail reception at KLCC last night, British Prime Minister David Cameron said he hoped that it would be the start of many more investments to come.
Later, Battersea Project Holding Company Ltd chairman Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin briefed Cameron on the project’s progress.
The reception was hosted by British High Commissioner to Malaysia Vicki Treadell.
Also present were CIMB Group chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak, EPF deputy chief executive officer (investment) Mohamad Nasir Ab Latif and British Minister of State for Trade and Investment Lord Francis Maude.
