As ancient Chinese discipline that exists for thousands of years, Feng Shui remains a mysterious subject that is also highly interwoven into our daily lives. Getting the right answer is crucial to align the Feng Shui in our home and our life. This week, Soleil Trinity Resource founder Jessie Lee answers queries regarding Feng Shui.
Q 1: If I am buying a house, when should I start asking the advice of a Feng Shui expert? Would it be best to seek advice before buying a house or during renovation?
A 1: It is best to engage the Feng Shui practitioner even before you buy the house. Feng Shui practitioners are not magic fairies. I would suggest looking at several developments, ask for the advice of a Feng Shui practitioner whereby the practitioner compares and lets you know the best development for you.
Q 2: Could you please share about the Feng Shui for study place? What is the most important thing that I have to consider before I set up my study?
A 2 : According to the general rule of Feng Shui, a study area is a place for you to settle down, ground ourselves, stay calm and have the clarity of mind to absorb knowledge. The Qi needs to be flowing and cannot be stagnant. It is crucial to ensure ventilation and sunlight are in abundance in your study room. This is because a stuffy room causes bad Qi flow and will affect your activity. It is also essential to stay away from a place with negative energy created by the banging of doors and other noises.
