The winners at Sheda’s Annual Dinner and Excellence Awards 2013.

KUCHING: The Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) is calling for entries for its annual excellence awards.

The Sheda Excellence Awards 2016 is open to members and non-members for categories which cover the whole spectrum of property development, from landed and strata residential and commercial developments to master plans, institutional buildings and showrooms.

Acknowledging the importance of innovation, the organising committee also welcomes the submission of exceptional development projects which may showcase, among others, unconventional ideas, novel use of green technology or extensive use of IBS.

Projects with focal elements designed to spur community revitalisation, create dynamic public spaces or advance sustainability, are also invited to apply.

Its main objectives are to enhance the growth of the property industry in Sarawak and to set a benchmark of distinction, quality and innovation.

Since 2009, over 20 outstanding developments across a range of residential and commercial projects have been recognised.

In addition to the development awards, Sheda also confers the Property Man of the Year title to exceptional individuals for their achievements and contribution to the housing and real estate industry in Sarawak.

The deadline for submission is July 29.
