One of the emerging challenges in real estate is to maximise rental income for the surplus of houses.
In the upcoming StarProperty.my Roadshow at Atria Shopping Gallery, property speaker Ivan Chong from Widebed Sdn Bhd will be sharing some thoughts on the upcoming booming industries of property and tourism on a talk titled “The Upcoming Booming Hospitality Industry – Real Estate + Tourism”.
According to Ivan, the new combination of real estate and tourism as well as Airbnb has changed the traditional concept of real estate investment all over the world.
He said an understanding of the new market trend will help the property investors or owners to change the traditional strategy of property investment and maximise the rental income via short-stay services.
Besides that, MIEA past president Siva Shankar will be giving a talk entitled “2017 and Beyond – What’s Hot & What’s Not”.
He will be sharing some points on the current state of the market as well as a projection of how the market will perform in the next few years.
Siva explained, “The market is undergoing unprecedented turmoil. The investor who is armed with the latest data and information will be better placed to make informed decisions which will bring the maximum returns and benefits to them.”
Siva will also touch on a property market report and analysis based on facts and figures, the scarcity of land and high land costs in the city centre as well as the improved connectivity in view of upcoming infrastructures such as HSR, MRT and LRT lines and stations.

Property speaker Aziz Ahmad will talk about “Why you need to stay on the transit system” while Vicky How from Propedia Consultancy will share her insights on “7 Killer Ways to Increase your Commercial Property Value”.
Moreover, Agnes Wong from Syarikat Ong Group of Companies will host a talk titled “How to maximise returns on your property investment through tax optimisation” and real estate coach Raphael Wong will be sharing “5 Tips on How to Sell Your Property Fast By Choosing the Right Real Estate Agent”.
