PETALING JAYA: Property hunters should head to the upcoming StarProperty.my Fair 2015, which will set the stage for more than 50 developers to showcase the latest offerings around Klang Valley and in other parts of the country.

There will also be projects in Thailand to be exhibited.

The three-day fair from this Friday, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, is organised by StarProperty.my in collaboration with its premium partners IJM Land, Tropicana Corp Bhd and Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd.

Ten speakers will be available to address property-related topics.

One of them is Khalil Adis, who is the founder of Khalil Adis Consultancy Pte Ltd.

He said first-time housebuyers should start their property hunt and take advantage of the various schemes that were rolled out in Budget 2016.

A recent survey in the first half of 2015 by the Real Estate and Housing Developers Association (Rehda) showed that property buyers could expect an increase in the launching of strata units but a reduction of landed property units.

The survey revealed that residential property would continue to lead new launches while commercial units had dropped by almost half.
