PETALING JAYA: Sunsuria Bhd is set to officially launch its new Sunsuria City Celebration Centre in Sunsuria City on April 22, signifying the first establishment in the new integrated township surrounding Xiamen University Malaysia.
An avenue for the community to discover and experience Sunsuria’s series of project deliveries over the next few years, the Sunsuria City Celebration Centre also functions as a gathering point for festive occasions and a community centre for daily usage.
At the Sunsuria City Celebration Centre, which encompasses Sunsuria City’s new flagship sales gallery and Celebration Arena event venue, visitors can find out more about the concept and principles of Sunsuria City and Xiamen University Malaysia.
According to statement, to commemorate the grand opening of the Sunsuria City Celebration Centre, Sunsuria Bhd will be organising the Sunsuria City Fest from April 22 to April 23 at the centre.
Themed, “Food, Art & Music”, the two-day event is set to be a feast for the senses, with food trucks and vendors providing tantalising fare, with a star-studded line-up of local and international artistes such as Fish Leong, Sheila Majid, Reza Salleh and Korean boyband Block B Bastarz providing live entertainment.
To liven up the atmosphere at the Sunsuria City Fest, there will be dance performances by the Astro Battleground contestants and students of Xiamen University Malaysia.
Specially-commissioned art installations around the Sunsuria City Celebration Centre are a visual spectacle to behold.
Families can catch street performances or take fun selfies with the 3D trick art at Sunsuria City’s Le Park or rent bicycles from the Sunsuria Oride Bicycle Station to get around the Sunsuria City Fest grounds.
“Building on Sunsuria City’s ‘Smart, Livable and Sustainable’ design principles, the township is the place to celebrate the arts by promoting young local artists and showcasing their work. From the naming of our developments, to the little touches of landscape design and street art in our township, we hope to inspire curiosity in the community to learn more about knowledge, arts and culture,” says Sunsuria Bhd chief executive officer Koong Wai Seng.
Sunsuria Bhd senior director of sales, marketing and operations Simon Kwan adds that Sunsuria City hopes to foster a deep appreciation for knowledge and the arts, as this is the mark of a maturing society.
The event will also mark the continuous launches of properties within the township with many exciting launches set to take place at the township this year. Among the upcoming launches include Bell Suites SOHO and serviced apartments, as well as the Monet Residences landed residential development.
