Property investor and homebuyers can join the StarProperty.my Fair 2017 at Johor Bahru City Square to gain more knowledge about real estate.
The event will be held from July 28 to 30, Friday to Sunday, from 10 am to 10 pm, while the talks will be held on Saturday and Sunday
This forum will be attended by two speakers Warrick Singh and Jessie Lee on Sunday.
Warrick will talk about alternative real estate strategies in a challenging market cycle, while Lee will talk about knowledge to bloom or to doom you in Feng Shui.
“I will share about the fundamentalism of property cycles and the world renown property clock that many investors rely upon capitalising during the four quadrants of a boom, retraction, bust and recovery,” said Warrick.
In this talk, Warrick also will share few tips and strategies on the various classifications of auction properties such as court auctions, Loan Agreement Cum Assignment (LACA) auctions, land office auctions, writ of distress and other relevant pertinent details.
“I will be going through the four taxes, namely, Stamp Duty, Goods and Services Tax, Income Tax, and Real Property Gains Tax and will touch on self-assessment regime too so that investors understand the tax game,” said Lee.
“Since taxes effects Return on Investment (ROI) in property investment, so knowing the taxes and how it works will help the investor to calculate their property gains and make an investment decision,” she said.
