The StarProperty.my Fair 2015 at Johor Bahru City Square, Johor Baru, two weeks ago, saw a large crowd of visitors exploring various property exhibitions by numerous reputable developers.
The fair was organised by StarProperty.my in collaboration with premium partners IJM Land, Tropicana Corp Bhd and Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd.
The exhibitors at the fair included I&P Group Sdn Bhd, UM Land and Belleview Group, a developer from Penang which joined the StarProperty.my Fair in Johor Baru for the first time.
I&P Group Sdn Bhd was promoting residential as well as industrial properties at the fair.
“Apart from residential properties, we also have 25 industrial properties in our Taman Industri Jaya project near Jalan Selesa Jaya. We are targeting the local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) planning to relocate their operations to a well-planned industrial park as well as the SMEs from Singapore to set up their operations in Iskandar Malaysia,” said I&P Group Sdn Bhd Sales, Marketing and Product manager Arry Nazraun Ahmad.
Other participants were developers from China, namely R&F Development Sdn Bhd, an existing exhibitor which joined the previous Johor Baru fair, Macrolink International Land (M) Sdn Bhd and Country Garden Danga Bay Sdn Bhd, both of which were new exhibitors at StarProperty.my Fair.
Country Garden Danga Bay is the first China-based developer to feature a property development project in Iskandar Malaysia.
Country Garden Danga Bay Sales and Marketing general manager Easson Qian said the company was currently undertaking a multi-billion ringgit project located along the Danga Bay Waterfront Development area overlooking Singapore.
“Construction work of the 43 blocks of 9,539 high-end condominium units is at 30% progress level with 6,000 units already sold to buyers from Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan and Indonesia,” he added.
R&F Development Sdn Bhd was glad to promote their project in Johor Baru once again. Phase One of their project is located on a 12.2-acre site and will comprise 1,400 condominium units in seven tower blocks.
The floor area of the condominium unit ranges between 469sq ft and 1,386sq ft, and all seven blocks are expected to be ready in mid-2018.
“We are marketing our R&F Princess Cove in Tanjung Puteri Johor Baru to our foreign buyers as a project north of Singapore as most of them do not know where Johor Baru is except Singaporeans.
“The strategy works well for us as the take- up rate for phase one of our project is encouraging with buyers from China, Indonesia, Singapore and Taiwan,” said R&F Development Sdn Bhd head of Sales and Marketing Johnny Chan.
Meanwhile, Macrolink International Land, a member of Macrolink Real Estate, is the latest developer from China to venture into Iskandar Malaysia. The company will launch its first property project outside of China in November.
Their project will comprise 1,005 units of high-end condominiums and 25 commercial lots sprawled across 11.7 acres in Medini, Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia.
For overseas projects, Oriental International Property Sdn Bhd introduced properties in the United Kingdom and Japan.
