Sime Darby Convention Centre (SDCC) embraces the Ramadhan month with the theme of "Jalan-Jalan Ramadhan Buffet".
Sime Darby Convention Centre is ushering the month of Ramadhan by announcing its special Iftar buffet promotion with the theme of "Jalan-Jalan Ramadhan Buffet".
True to its theme, the outstanding variety of cuisine options for the Ramadhan Buffet this year is carefully crafted by SDCC's Pastry Chef Mohd Nordin bin Abdullah. The buffet features a wide array of mouth-watering Malaysian favourites that one would expect such as udang sambal tumis petai, bubur lambuk berherba, roasted whole lamb, and kacang pool special.
There will also be 30 show stations offering different live cooking such as sup berempah, laksam Kelantan, masakan kawah, lidah bakar, tempayan Roasted Chicken, teppanyaki, assorted sushi and shashimi, sizzlers, hotplates, and assorted cucur.
Buffet aficionados would surely make a beeline for the roasted crispy duck with plum sauce, as well as kerang and ikan bakar.
For those hankering for something more international, an Italian pasta station will serve an assortment of pasta dishes prepared à la minute to each guest's liking, such as spaghetti, penne, or fettucini in carbonara, tomato concasse, or Bolognese sauce.
Quench your thirst with an assorted array of truly Malaysian drinks with selections such as teh tarik and Nescafe tarik, sirap selasih, guava asam boi, cincau, air jagung, sugar cane, as well as ice-blended chocolate and mocha, which are available for guests to savour during the breaking of fast.
Diners may continue their dinner journey with assorted local desserts as everyone deserves a sweet ending with our unbeatable dessert selection that will never disappoint your colourful tastebuds. Indulge in a host of traditional local sweets such as tapai pulut, wajik, and Dodol, complemented by stalls that will prepare fresh ABCs, pancakes, ice creams, and Orio Churros with caramel sauce or green tea caramel.
In addition to the usual selections, indulge in an array of signature dishes every Friday and Saturday such as siput sedut, otak-otak sotong sumbat, baked saffron lamb with saffron rice, and Chinese-style chilli crab.
This year, D'Atap Gazebo Steamboat and Grill offers diners 100 types of all-you-can-eat items at RM49++ per person. Children (aged 5 to 12 years) and senior citizens (aged 60 and above) dine at RM37++ per person. Children below five years of age dine-in for free.
Priced at RM99++ per person, the Ramadhan buffet will start daily from 6.30pm to 10.30pm beginning from 6th May 2019 until 2nd June 2019. Children (aged 5 to 12 years) and senior citizens (aged 60 and above) will enjoy a 25% discount. Children below five years of age dine-in for free.
Early bird vouchers are up for sale at RM69++ per person in the month of March 2019, and RM79++ per person from 1st April 2019 to 5th May 2019. For every purchase of 10 (10) vouchers, one (1) complimentary voucher will be given.
Special banquet event packages for Buka Puasa in the private function room, are available from 6th May to 2nd June 2019, priced from RM69++ to RM110++ per person for a minimum of ten (10) tables. Outside catering services are also available. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
China Treasures at Sime Darby Convention Centre (SDCC) will be offering their "Ramadhan Dinner Indulgence" buffet tradition during the month of Ramadhan.
Like previous years, the promotion offers diners the most valuable experience where the restaurant has to offer, presenting 60 types of all-you-eat à la minute dishes, along with 79 delectable dim sum selections.
The à la minute menu features, the chef's top recommendations including Deep Fried Shimeiji mushrooms with salted egg yolk and chilli powder, steamed grass carp with minced chili soya sauce, deep fried tiger prawns with creamy butter sauce, deep fried chicken with "Kung Pao" sauce and roasted duck in "Pi Pa" style.
79 varieties of dim-sum include steamed chicken and shrimp dumplings with mushroom, deep-fried shrimp patties with sliced almond, stir-fried radish cake, beansprouts with chilli sauce, deep-fried prawn, salted egg yolk roll with steamed and buttered bamboo charcoal bun.
