SF: Annual Appreciation and Awards Night honours agency’s top achievers and celebrates key milestones to cement 7 years of business growth
Kuala Lumpur, 24 February 2017 – Over 300 of the very best of Malaysian real estate talent, industry stalwarts, high-net worth individuals as well as leading representatives from the Property Hub Sdn. Bhd. network converged last night to ‘Celebrate Togetherness and Excellence’ at Property Hub’s Appreciation and Awards Night 2017.
The annual event not only commemorated Property Hub’s seventh anniversary but also marked 10 years of partnership which led to the establishment of the successful award-winning real estate agency and five-time MIEA Residential Agency of the Year.
For the first time, the event also featured a main property developer partner, Triterra Metropolis Sdn. Bhd. (Triterra), as the Premier Developer Sponsor for the evening.
Among distinguished guests present were YB Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad, Selangor State Executive Councilor of Housing Management and Urban Living; Mr. Erick Kho, President of MIEA and YB Dato’ Wira Lim Teong Kiat, Joint Chairman of Triterra.
“Property Hub was founded on a dream and that dream is to empower and enrich Malaysians through real estate. Our enhanced market reach today is the fruition of a carefully managed growth and expansion plan set in motion since the agency’s resurgence in 2010,” said Mr. Benjamin Tee, Property Hub’s Co-founder and Senior Vice President.
“We have expanded to new branch offices in Kota Kinabalu and the Kuala Lumpur city centre at a time when consolidation is more rampant. We have grown from 12 people in 2010 to more than 130 associates and staff today. This watershed period celebrates yet another important milestone in the quest to make Property Hub the most progressive and influential real estate agency across Malaysia,” he added.
Co-founder of Property Hub and Chief Executive Officer of Triterra, Mr. Christopher Lim, said, “There can be no higher regard than that which I and all Hubbers hold for Madam Patricia, for her faith and the seed of trust she planted by allowing Ben and myself to build Property Hub together with an exceptional management team. This experience is among the most rewarding of my career and I thank God for the journey of His grace and wisdom upon the team for seeing us through. The evening honoured several top performers of the year whose efforts contributed to a Year-on-year growth for Property Hub, despite the uncertain economic conditions of 2016.
One of the biggest winners of the night was Ms. Roshindar Dhillon from the KLCC branch, who swept five awards including Top Rookie, Highest Professional Fees Achieved, Most Frequent Monthly Top Rookie, and Highest Transaction Value – all in her first year with Property Hub!
One of the most illustrious awards of the evening, the Chairman’s Awards for Excellence, was presented to Executive Principal, Mr. Wan Choy Heng, for Excellence in Management, and Ms. Phoebe Tan, a Property Hub Top Performer for Excellence in Sales for many years.
In a special highlight of the evening and to a standing ovation, the outpouring of affection for Madam Patricia Ng was encapsulated in a poignant and touching moment when Property Hub’s co-founders presented a trophy of appreciation to Madam Patricia Ng, who gave the duo their big break in 2006 when she gave them the reins to the then budding real estate agency called Meru Utama Realty, which was subsequently rebranded to Property Hub in 2010.
