JOHOR BARU: Property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd has launched its Johor corporate office at Austin V Square in line with the company’s transformation strategy.

The five-storey building is located in a commercial development project developed by Mah Sing.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang said Austin V Square was a freehold commercial development that has 164 corporate suite units and one convention centre.

“We want to create a better and conducive environment for our staff and clients.

Ho said this in his speech before officiating Mah Sing Johor corporate office here.

He also pointed out that Mah Sing’s decision to open its corporate office in the state showed its commitment and confidence in property outlook in Johor, especially within Iskandar Malaysia.

He stressed that the growth in the property sector in Iskandar Malaysia was due to strong demand for houses by locals.

“Mah Sing started to explore within the Johor property market some 17 years ago, and our first project involved developing a residential township within a 121.2ha land known as Sri Pulai Perdana.

“Now, we have about seven development projects in Johor, with a reserve land of 554ha with a gross development value of RM6.8bil,” he added.
