WANT to learn more about the overnight policy rate (OPR), loan eligibility criteria and grasp opportunities in the current property market?
Then you should attend the StarProperty.my forum which will also touch on how proper financing and the right locations are important when considering a property purchase.
Malaysia’s economic outlook following Brexit (Britain’s exit from the European Union) provides great opportunities as well as challenges for the property market.
Bank Negara Malaysia took a proactive action to reduce the OPR which led to local banks reducing the base lending rate.
One of the speakers, tax and GST consultant Dr Choong Kwai Fatt, will present a talk on the topic, “How does Bank Negara’s OPR reduction affect the Malaysian property market”.
The speaker will give practical tips and guidance when acquiring property including the selection of properties and factors that need to be taken into consideration.
“The talk will also cover the business structure employed for commercial property acquisition.
“The notable points from the new Companies Bill 2015 on setting up a private company, which is soon to be the Companies Act 2017, must be fully understood to mitigate any unwarranted penalty,” said Choong.
There will also be a presentation on Putrajaya, considered Malaysia’s greenest and best integrated city.
The forum, which is free and open to the public, will be held this Saturday at the Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel from 9.30am - 4pm.
