JOHOR BARU: Several new homeowners escaped the hot and humid Malaysian weather by seeking relief in an ice room complete with winter jackets and scarves.
The one-of-a-kind experience, themed “The Coolest Project in Johor” was Andaman Property Group’s way of rewarding homeowners its newly launched ARC @ Austin Hills condominium development.
The participants were required to put on winter apparel before entering the mobile ice room set up at the group’s Mount Austin site office in Taman Mount Austin.
They had the chance to interact with each other while sipping mocktails in the freezing environment.
The unique and “cool” experience was documented on instant photos that were printed on-the-spot for lucky participants to take home.
Group managing director Datuk Seri Vincent Tiew said they wanted to do something different.
“We wanted to give our homeowners an interesting and memorable day and the ice cold room was also a welcome respite during the hazy and hot month of October,” he said.
He added that ARC @ Austin Hills project was priced 20% below market value.
Tiew said that other condominium development projects in Mount Austin were priced at above RM550 per sq ft whereas the group’s project was priced below RM420 per sq ft.
“This project, comprising 1,843 units in three blocks, is now officially the lowest-priced amongst 10 other development projects within Mount Austin,” he said.
ARC at Austin Hills features a total of three blocks comprising 1,843 units.
There are three built-up sizes to cater to different needs and price levels. For details, call at 1-700-81-8118 or visit www.austinjb.com.my.
