LoveRun 2019 opens registrations in three running categories, to be held at MAEPS on 26th October 2019, in raising funds for two important charities
LoveRun Malaysia 2019 registrations officially opened on 10th June 2019 to the public with a grand 72-hour flash sale for early birds and 2018 LoveRunners. LoveRun continues to reveal exciting new surprises for new and returning participants.
LoveRun 2019 will be held at MAEPS at 4 pm on 26th October 2019 with three categories of Fun Run (5KM), and Professional Run (13KM), as well as the Virtual Run (5KM or 13KM) for those who are not able to be at MAEPS. 100% of proceeds, upon deduction of costs, will go to the LoveRun beneficiaries.
This year’s run will be the sequel to the very successful LoveRun 2018 where RM100,000 was raised for four beneficiaries namely the Dignity for Children Foundation, the Selangor and Federal Territory Association for the Mentally Handicapped (SAMH), Rumah Aman, and the Refugee Welfare Fund supported by UNHCR.
These organisations strive on a daily basis to provide a better life to those in need and to pave the way and unearth the restrictions they face, allowing them to rise to their full potential in society.
LoveRun has made it its mission to continue aiding these beneficiaries in this meaningful goal, and to create a positive impact that will break the chain of poverty and inspire others to do the same. As such, this year, LoveRun will be raising funds for the Dignity for Children Foundation and Rumah Aman.
Dignity for Children Foundation will be able to utilize the funds towards the continuation of their Empower-a-Child program. Maintaining this program will allow them to provide children with extensive support, enabling them to receive quality education and holistic care.
Rumah Aman will utilize funds towards replacing old and tattered mattresses with new ones, as well as purchasing a school bus that will take children from the girls’ dormitory to school.
LoveRun aims to create a society where everyone has a chance without having to face the barriers of poverty and a lack of education; a society that will positively motivate and impact itself towards happiness and prosperity. You, too, can be part of this meaningful cause in reshaping the world towards a better tomorrow.
