Kajang: Gamuda Land initiated a fund-raising programme to help the five nearby schools in their daily maintenance and upgrading work with an initial donation amounting to a total of RM40,000.
The five participating schools are Sekolah Kebangsaan (C) Sungai Chua, Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Jelok, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jalan Bukit, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Yu Hua and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Bandar Sungai Long.
The public is welcomed to participate in the fund-raising efforts by donating to the schools started yesterday on 16 June 2019 until 7 July 2019.
Gamuda Land also conducted the Tree of Hope or “Pohon Impian” initiative in collaboration with six welfare organizations across Gamuda Land townships.
In this initiative, the public including Gamuda Land Friends bought gifts based on wish lists hung by children on a specially designed tree at Jade Hills Property Gallery which has brought joy to 257 children.
There was also a one-day food fiesta that offered a selection of traditional foods at Jade Hill’s Merchant Market Raya bazaar which was held on 16th June 2019.
The bazaar featured more than 60 pop-up stalls, games and retail booths on every first and third Sunday of each month.
“For the Raya bazaar, visitors of the Jade Hills Merchant Market Raya bazaar can redeem a Gamuda Land Limited Edition Tiffin set and RM20 Starbucks gift card from 16th to 30th June 2019,” said Jade Hills general manager Jarrod Ting.
