A pioneer in eco products, SCI Cabinet Industry Sdn Bhd will be showcasing a range of sustainable and environmentally-friendly kitchen and wardrobe solutions at the Perfect Lifestyle ‘15 home and living exhibition.
The exhibition, from today until Sunday, is being held at Setia City Convention Centre, Setia Alam.
SCI Cabinet Industry managing director Wong Lai Ping said the company aimed to provide one-stop home furniture solutions.
“We do our own manufacturing and fabrication of home furniture and this ensures production quality as well as timely delivery.
“The Eco+ Series offers eco-friendly kitchens, wardrobe and other customised cabinets manufactured using low- formaldehyde materials,” she said.
The company is taking up four booths and visitors can discover how to customise their kitchen, living room and bathrooms with built-ins to optimise space.
Another product visitors can look out for is the Spanish brand Neolith ceramic stone for kitchen counter tops.
“The material slabs are scratch-free as well as fire- and acid-resistant. It is suitable for most kitchen tops and is durable while exuding a modern vibe.
“The material can also be used in other parts of the house such as cupboard panels, doors, walls and floors,” Wong said.
Visitors can also check out the Caesarstone quartz stone in a wide range of colours suitable for various surfaces.
It comprises 93% natural quartz and is stain-free and scratch-resistant.
Also, check out the Crystal Glass and Hi-Gloss series used in kitchen cabinet finishing.
The Crystal Glass is equipped with an aluminium frame and manufactured locally using a machine imported from Germany while the Hi-Gloss series has no side edges for a stylish look in any kitchen.
“Houseowners are not only looking for convenience in home furnishing, they also want eco-friendly and customised products.
“This is something SCI is able to provide,” Wong said.
The first 1,000 daily registered visitors will walk away with a Perfect Lifestyle aluminium drinking water bottle each.
Exhibition opening hours are 10am to 9pm.
Admission is free.
