PETALING JAYA: Country Garden and Mayland’s joint development at Semenyih, Diamond City, completed its first phase six months ahead of schedule. The developer recently celebrated its key handover ceremony and marked the first handover of Country Garden’s overseas project.
In conjunction with the Chinese New Year, the developer also launched Diamond City’s mascot Nino D and the New Year wishing tree.
The ceremony were graced by Country Garden Diamond City project general manager Cheng Meng, joint venture managing director Chai Keng Wai, sales and marketing manager Ye Lang Heng and special guest Wong Chui Ling.
According to statement, Diamond City is a 258-arce development located at Semenyih and consists of two development phases.
Phase 1 spreads across 100 acres of land and offers 418 units of residential products in four precinct. That includes 305 units of bungalows and 113 units of link houses. The current take-up rate is 90%.
Phases 2 will see over 940 residential units on 158 acres of land. The link houses and semi-detached houses are priced from RM600,000 with built-up area starting from 1,860 sq ft. The low-density development has achieved 70% take-up rate since its launch last April.
Diamond City will also have a 57,000-sq-ft clubhouse and facilities such as infinity pool, mini theatre, bowling alley and more.
