PETALING JAYA: Property developers have become more conscious of the need to incorporate environmentally-friendly designs and concepts into their project developments as seen in the rising number of such projects.
Besides contributing to uplifting the living environment, these projects have also set new benchmarks in the property market and improved the quality of life for the people.
Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences (MINGS) president Professor Joe Choo said eco-friendly developments are those that adopt environmentally-friendly practices and sustainable standards to achieve optimum results.
“At MINGS, our principles are always based on the understanding of natural landforms with consideration of natural elements such as sunlight and weather,” added Choo, who was one of the judges at the recent inaugural StarProperty.my Awards 2016.
The awards event was held last Tuesday to recognise the best in the real estate industry for their developments that are sustainable and offer enhancement to the quality of life.
