PETALING JAYA: Property buyers now have many options to shop around for their dream property with the many infrastructure projects coming up under Budget 2016, a property consultant said.
Founder of Singapore-based Consultancy Pte Ltd Khalil Adis said from an investment point of view, property developed close to transportation hubs command a premium of between 5% and 10% in asking prices in the resale and rental markets should one decide to sell or rent out their property that have good infrastructure connectivity.
“Property buyers should also study the LRT and MRT extension lines, and new townships such as Kwasa Damansara that will hold up to two stations within the township.
“The Government is allocating up to RM900mil to tackle Kuala Lumpur’s notorious traffic jams which will allow even those living outside the Klang Valley to enjoy the shorter commuting time to and from the city.”
