PETALING JAYA: Unity, family and community are underlying themes that define The Estate, a boutique luxury development by Bon Estates Sdn Bhd in South Bangsar that is determined to stand apart by focusing on emotive appeal and people.
Following its successful Chinese New Year event on January 15th that celebrated traditions, art, culture and the shared values family and community unity that can be found at The Estate, Bon Estates embarked on a second celebration this weekend that emphasised its continued commitment to invest into the community.
Held at its Sales Gallery along Jalan Penaga in Bangsar, the event not only treated guests to an acrobatic Lion Dance performance but also showcased young talent in the form of the cheerleading team from Catholic High School Petaling Jaya (or SMJK Katholik).
By engaging these students to provide their cheer leading spirit for the event, Bon Estates showed it support for young talent as well as their fund raising efforts to participate in an international cheerleading event.
“We have supported local talent on many occasions here at the Bon Estates Sales Gallery, but we are particularly happy to support these young students this time around. If it will help give them the drive and confidence to compete on an international stage, then we consider this a very good cause indeed,” said Bon Estates managing director Goh Soo Sing in a statement.
He added that guests at the event were also invited to contribute generously to the young cheerleading team’s ambitions.
Goh explained that Bon Estates’ support of talent and artistry is very much in line with the company’s ideology as it believes modern developers should move away from simply being providers of space and become craftsmen who shape meaningful lifestyles. With this in mind, it has adopted the tagline: “Living, Well Crafted”.
“Investing in the next generation is also extremely important to us. This can be seen at our flagship project, The Estate, where considerable effort has been placed on creating an environment that nurtures the youth, and provides a healthy and active ambience for families,” Goh said.
