The usually strait-laced Mah Sing Finance team showed their creative side during the groups annual dinner in line with the Mah Sing Cirque theme at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

THERE were clowns, ringmasters and acrobats. But no, it was not the circus – but Mah Sing Group Bhd celebrating another year since its establishment.

The annual dinner at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur was attended by 1,000 people including employees and partners.

Adding colour to the event, Mah Sing staff dressed up to the evening’s theme, “Mah Sing Cirque”.

At the dinner, group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum launched the company’s new corporate logo to mark the company’s group-wide transformation programme.

“As we move to the next chapter in our corporate growth, we want to do more.

“We put on a new look, and we rethink our purpose. In everything we do now, we want to firstly ‘enhance life’. We want to ensure all live well, be it our customers, our people or our stakeholders.

“The launch of our new logo is part of our commitment to change for the better,” he said.

“The new logo represents the group’s commitment towards rebranding the company,” he added.

“Mah Sing is where we are today because of the hardwork, passion and spirit of the entire Mah Sing team. I am thankful to have colleagues who believe in, and executed, my vision for the company during our very humble beginnings.

“Every successful company is built on the dedication of its employees, and I am proud to have some of the best people by my side,” Leong said.

As part of the night’s celebration, long-service awards were given out to loyal staff, some of whom had been with the company for two decades.

Deputy chief operations officer Joey Wong said her 20 years with the company had been a rollercoaster journey.

“There have been good and bad times, but we have persevered through them like a family,” she said.

The night was filled with many fun events such as dance performances, lucky draws for the Mah Sing team and guests, and in-house entertainment by the staff.

The night was made extra special as Harith Iskander, who was recently voted Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World, entertained the audience with his skits.
