Developer keeps raising Bandar Bukit Raya’s value

BANDAR Bukit Raya (BBR) is one of Sime Darby Property’s showcase integrated and self-contained townships.

Spanning 1,753.5ha in Klang, Selangor, the township comprises a well-balanced mix of residential, commercial and industrial components and still has more than 70% of land area for future developments.

“Since its launch in 2002, BBR has become a residential development synonymous with growth in value.

“Even after 14 years, it remains one of Klang’s most popular locations, drawing new residents and significant investment from both business and industrial sectors,” said BBR township head Mohd Idris Abdullah.

Despite the soft market condition, new projects within the township have been well-received.

The Persada double-storey link house development, which was launched recently, has an average take-up rate of 93%.

The four-bedroom units are priced from RM603,466 after a 7% bumiputra discount for intermediate lots measuring 1,787sq ft.

Meanwhile, the latest Casira 1 features 82 double-storey terrace houses and has recorded a 60% take-up rate since its launch in May.

Designed to maximise natural lighting and ventilation, the four-bedroom houses are priced from RM681,888 with built-up areas ranging from 2,012sq ft to 2,311sq ft and slated for completion in May 2019.

In line with its philosophy of building sustainable communities, Sime Darby Property is committed to developing quality affordable housing in all its townships.

All affordable homes are generally in locations with access to various public transportation and facilities that provide better living standards for the community.

Developed under the Rumah Selangorku scheme within BBR, Seruling Apartment (launched in May 2016) and Serunai Apartment (launched in January this year) are equipped with ample space and built using quality materials.

Amenities within the township include retail shops, police station, fire station, mall, parks, playgrounds and the upcoming Columbia Asia Hospital Klang.

There are also primary and secondary schools as well as established higher education institutions such as Tenby International School, Universiti Industri Selangor and Universiti Teknologi Mara.

Bandar Bukit Raya is easily accessible via the Federal Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), New North Klang Straits Bypass and the upcoming West Coast Expressway (WCE).

Future development plans include a 50.6ha park called Taman Bandar, which is in the planning stage and will be rolled out in phases. The first phase consists of about 5.3ha and is expected to be completed by early 2020.

Residential projects to be launched within the next 12 months include two phases of double-storey terrace houses.

Projected to be completed by 2030 with an expected population of 82,000, Bandar Bukit Raya prides itself on having close-knit communities with 25 active residents associations within the township.
