THE festive spirit was evident at Unique Seafood Section 13 restaurant as developer LBS Bina Group Sdn Bhd held its annual Chinese New Year dinner for employees, business partners and friends.

Managing director Tan Sri Lim Hock San and his brothers, Datuk Lim Hock Guan and Datuk Seri Lim Hock Sing, led the crowd in celebrations, with their father and group founder-chairman Datuk Seri Lim Bock Seng seated at the main table.

The host’s family gathered at the front to lou sang and mark the start of the banquet.

As everyone dined on an elaborate nine-course meal, Hock San thanked them for their support and efforts throughout 2015.

In between, guests were treated to a lucky draw for ang pow ranging from RM200 to RM400, while other guests received hampers.

Each brother took turns to distribute the ang pow.

Hock San expressed confidence that LBS Bina could hit its target of RM1.2bil in sales this year, by leveraging on their expertise in building medium-cost homes.

“For 2015, we managed to hit RM1.029bil in sales, and despite the economic situation, I’m pretty confident LBS Bina can hit our target,” said Hock San.

He added that projects such as Bandar Saujana Putra 21, of which most were medium-cost apartments, would be major earners. “The first five blocks, comprising 1,200 units, are 90% sold,” said Hock San.

There was also a best dressed line-up for the men and women who fit in with the dinner’s “Oriental Floral” theme, while other guests took turns to sing classic Mandarin and New Year karaoke songs.
