KUALA LUMPUR: Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O), in collaboration with Mitsui Fudosan Group, recently celebrated a significant milestone in constructing Conlay, its luxury 51-storey serviced residence, with a topping-out ceremony.
This event marked the completion of Conlay’s structural framework, indicating that the building has reached its full height and remains on schedule for completion in the first quarter of 2025.
With an approximate gross development value (GDV) of RM900mil, Conlay features 491 meticulously designed units, ranging from 743 sq ft one-bedroom apartments to spacious 1,335 sq ft two-plus-one-bedroom layouts. Each unit is equipped with premium appliances and luxurious finishes for a refined living experience.
Designed by Kerry Hill Architects, Conlay is a contemporary tropical tower that combines elegance with modernity. Its striking fin-lined façade will stand out against the Kuala Lumpur skyline, offering residents panoramic views of the city’s landmarks.
The project's strategic location near the Conlay MRT station allows for easy access to key shopping and leisure areas like Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Bukit Bintang, as well as the upcoming Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) financial district.
“Conlay embodies E&O’s commitment to hospitality and craftsmanship, seamlessly blending Kerry Hill’s iconic design philosophy. It offers a sanctuary of elegance and balance, where every detail is thoughtfully crafted for a refined urban lifestyle,” said E&O managing director Kok Tuck Cheong.
“We are honoured to partner with E&O on Conlay, a development that showcases our confidence in its success and our dedication to exceptional urban living. By drawing on E&O’s expertise in luxury living and hospitality, Conlay highlights the strength of our collaboration and our shared vision of creating iconic spaces for discerning residents,” said Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia managing director Masayoshi Saito.
Conlay will offer residents a range of premium amenities, including a heated infinity swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and themed communal spaces such as a library and games room. The development will also feature a lifestyle and F&B space on the 50th floor for exclusive conveniences.
E&O is currently exploring the possibility of incorporating branded serviced residences to enhance luxury living and is set to make an announcement in the first quarter of 2025.
