KUALA LUMPUR: The launch of the 10-storey Chow Kit Trade Center (CKTC) meant consumers will have more choices in a one-stop wholesale mall for cosmetic products, kitchen wares and traditional Malay herbs.

CKTC is a freehold development by New Paradise Development under the umbrella of VINSOON Group.

VINSOON Group founder Datuk Michael Lim said that developing CKTC provides significant value not only to Chow Kit but also to wholesalers and investors of CKTC. The development will help to nurture the sub district to embrace the fast-paced financial and development movement of Kuala Lumpur to be on par with other fast-moving cities around the world.

“For many years, Chow Kit has served as a great area for the wholesale community including for leisure due to its great location and varied wholesale products ranging from watches, custom jewelry, fashionable accessories to household and kitchen wares.

“Armed with a specialized knowledge of the Malaysian market through past projects, we developed an understanding of targeted wholesalers and investors and achieved what we set out to do,” says Lim in a statement.

With a net floor area of 34,650 sq ft, 50% of the development is currently sold out to the business investors and wholesalers who bring a range of products and stocks from China, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia and more.

According to Lim, after the launch of CKTC, it is foreseen that the whole development will be fully taken up by December, with a Gross Development Value of RM156,828,030. The development will be completed by the end of 2019.

CKTC comprises 254 lots with built-up areas ranging from 52 to 181 sq ft. The prices range from RM101, 400 to RM1, 411,800.

CKTC presents some unique features including a sky-dining Malay heritage food court.

Apart from easy mobility of visitors within the premises, the development also provides easy access to major roads and walking distance to convenient nearby public transport such as the Chow Kit Monorail, Kampung Baru LRT, PWTC LRT, Pekeliling Bas Terminal and Pudu Sentral UTC.
