Berjaya Land launches The Tropika residence

Petaling Jaya: Berjaya Golf Resort Bhd recently launched its latest residential development called The Tropika@Bukit Jalil.

Sitting on 6.5 acres of freehold land, The Tropika is a gated and guarded residential project offering 868 units across four towers.

The serviced residences have built-up areas ranging from 732 to 1,318 sq ft with a starting price of RM575,000. There will be only five to seven units per level in The Tropika to provide sufficient privacy for the residents.

Surrounding the residential towers is a 2.9 acres deck equipped with 68 types of facilities grouped under eight lifestyle categories. Residents will get to enjoy urban lifestyle activities in a tranquil environment with facilities that include an infinity swimming pool, indoor and outdoor gyms, Zen garden, rock-climbing wall, camping grounds and e-charging station.

“The Tropika is meticulously crafted to provide residents with a home that incorporates the elements of an urban lifestyle and the lush greenery of nature so they will be able to experience the best of both worlds,” said Berjaya Land Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Pee Kang Seng.

He added that about 58% of the total units in The Tropika are designed below 1,000 sq ft to address the needs of the young demographic within the vicinity.

According to Berjaya Land Bhd senior general manager (property marketing) Tan Tee Ming, The Tropika is mainly targeted for young families and investors who are seeking for rental returns, given its proximity to various established educational institutions such as SJKC Lai Meng, International Medical University and APIIT.

Besides the residential components, the development also features a 23,695 sq ft grocer along with a two storey dual frontage office lots slated to be completed by 2020.

The Tropika has easy access to major highways such as Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Puchong-Sungai Besi Highway, Shah Alam Expressway, Maju Expressway (MEX) and New Pantai Expressway (NPE) and is well-served by public transportation including RapidKL bus and LRT services.

The Tropika is expected to complete by 2021.
