KLANG: Although the tidal waves have subsided, the residential areas at Batu 5 in Jalan Kapar was hit by floods again after the bund along the costal shore gave way Thursday morning.

The height of the tidal wave Thursday was 5.1m compared to 5.5m yesterday (It was 5.7m on Monday and Tuesday).
According to Sungai Pinang fire station chief Zaidi Ahtan, water started rising at about 6.30am after the bund gave way about an hour earlier.
Zaidi said most of the residents from the area were still taking refuge at the Datuk Ahmad Razali multi-purpose hall.
