THE community of Bandar Puteri Puchong will now have a new multipurpose hall in addition to its current facilities.
Built by IOI Properties Group Bhd (IOIPG), it is located along Jalan Puteri 10/13 in Bandar Puteri 10.
The 650sq m community hall houses a huge stage, PA system room, two changing rooms, three badminton courts and surau.
Additionally, the hall is equipped with disabled-friendly features such as ramps for easy wheelchair access, toilets and parking bays to cater to those with special needs.
The Bandar Puteri multipurpose hall, which will be managed by Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ), is one of the group’s continual efforts in enhancing community development and building harmonious community relations.
“It is the priority of IOIPG to develop sustainable townships that would deliver positive impacts towards the local economy, the surrounding environment and the society in which it operates.
“We are committed to working closely with MPSJ in enhancing the lifestyle of Bandar Puteri Puchong residents, and are grateful for the council’s support in this project,” said IOIPG chief executive officer Lee Yeow Seng at the handover ceremony.
Constructed at a cost of RM2mil, Lee added that the hall was one of the largest multipurpose facilities in Puchong.
“With its intensely vibrant colour scheme and modern architecture, its aesthetics is synonymous with the lifestyle of the young Bandar Puteri Puchong demographics,” he said.
Also present at the event were IOIPG group executive chairman Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng, property development chief operating officer Teh Chin Guan, property investment chief operating officer Cheah Wing Choong, MPSJ president Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan, deputy president Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali and Kinrara assemblyman Ng Sze Han.
