The StarProperty.my Real Estate Awards is drawing near with nominations ending on June 25.

The premier event will highlight the unique journey of property agents as well as key real estate agencies, and set the benchmark like never before in Malaysia.

“A successful agent should be sincere, has good knowledge of real estate, understands the unique selling points of a particular property as well as its value, and ensures that a property that is sold should be in good condition,” said Real Estate & Housing Developers' Association Malaysia (Rehda) patron Ng Seing Liong who will be one of the judges of the event.

“Furthermore, a good agent must ensure that the sold property should bring good yield or return, is of value and can appreciate in value in the near future.

"The agent should choose easily accessible locations to sell, preferably a property close to train or public transport connectivity, and choose easily tenanted developments to showcase to clients," added Ng.
