PETALING JAYA: Property developer Avaland has launched Meria @ Cybersouth Square (Meria), comprising 49 units of two and three-storey shops set against the backdrop of The Island @ Cybersouth, a 40-acre green space that includes a 37-acre waterbody.
Meria spans 20 acres and the units have dual-frontage. It is GreenRE certified and offers a connected park and a balanced mix of commerce and leisure, all within an inclusive and sustainable environment. The project incorporates energy and water-efficient designs, eco-friendly materials, native trees and green spaces, alongside pedestrian walkways, all aimed at minimising environmental impact while promoting business growth and community engagement. A total of 190 units are being planned.
Chief executive officer Apollo Bello Tanco said Meria is key to creating a self-sustaining township in Cybersouth.
“Our vision for Cybersouth is centered around creating a self-sustaining township, guided by strong ESG principles. At the heart of this transformation is Meria, a commercial hub that incorporates sustainable features aimed at advancing both environmental stewardship and enhancing community well-being,” he said, adding that 50% of the initial launch units have been taken up.
“Given Cybersouth's enhanced connectivity and growth potential, we’re confident in the remaining units’ take-up and the continued success of future releases. Located within 10 km of over 600,000 households, Meria offers significant investment opportunities, particularly for business owners. Much like the rapid sell-out of our Santai commercial units at Casa Embun, Meria is expected to attract similar strong interest," he added.
