KUALA LANGAT: LBS Bina Group Bhd (LBS) garnered another record-breaking feat for its BSP21 development with its entry into the Malaysia Book of Records.
With a total of 103 facilities, the BSP21 project is now recorded as the “Most Number of Facilities in a Residential Development” in Malaysia. The historic milestone made it a double celebration with the final blocks of the project completed well-ahead of schedule.
The certificate presentation ceremony, held at the BSP21 Service Residence, was witnessed by Selangor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Malaysia Book of Records founder Tan Sri Danny Ooi and chief operating officer Christopher Wong.
LBS group managing director Tan Sri Lim Hock San was on hand to receive the award.
First launched in December 2014, BSP21 is situated on a 21-acre piece of land in LBS’ flagship Bandar Saujana Putra township in Selangor. The development has a total gross development value of RM 1.4bil.
Comprising 2,602 units, BSP21 apartment blocks sit atop three podiums connected by sky bridges and green spaces. The development, which has 10 blocks of 18-storey and 27-storey apartments, sits on an eight-acre lot.
With its record-breaking number of facilities and amenities, BSP21 is described as a wellness lifestyle serviced residence.
These lifestyle facilities were engineered and carefully allocated for multi-level generation living, catering to residents of all ages. Some of these lifestyle facilities include a spectacular swimming pool of the size of 19 badminton courts combined, as well as a 66,000 sq ft clubhouse spread over four levels.
It also includes themed gardens and playgrounds spread across three podiums; dedicated jogging and bicycle track totalling 2.3km, green spaces such as the “Tree House Pavilion” for residents and families who want to bond and relax.
Another pioneering feature is a dedicated “Outdoor Silver Station” designed to promote healthy-living activities amongst the elderly residents. To promote a conducive living environment, BSP21 is also equipped with features like three-tier security system, CCTV-monitored lifts and podium lobby. The car park is equipped with panic buttons.
The project is easily accessible via five major highways such as the North-South Expressway Central Link, South Klang Valley Expressway, Maju Expressway, Shah Alam Expressway and Damansara-Puchong Highway.
BSP21 is surrounded by amenities such as retail outlets and educational institutions such as MAHSA University in Bandar Saujana Putra, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Multimedia University Cyberjaya, University College of Medical Sciences Cyberjaya and ELC International School.
Upcoming amenities include primary and secondary schools, a multipurpose hall as well as facilities like bank, clinics, eateries, petrol stations, police stations and convenience stores.
During a recent visit to Bandar Saujana Putra, Amirudin announced the construction of a new flyover at the BSP roundabout connecting the SKVE to the ELITE highway. Built by LBS, construction of the new flyover will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by 2021
